The practice day · cl. 1
Nothing quietly goes past its date.
Every date owned, dated and verified, and digested to you each morning. A missed PPI window is not a late task. It is a client who becomes unlawful.
How deadlines work
Every date is owned by a named person and carries the document it was calculated from, so it is either verified against that source or visibly unverified. Each adviser gets a digest every morning. Clause 1 of the Code makes timeliness a licence obligation, which is why the date and its authority live together.

A missed PPI window is not a late task. It is a client who becomes unlawful. Section 61 is sharper still: there is no timeframe, no obligation on Immigration New Zealand to consider the request, and no right of appeal.
